Bedford Bids Farewell to Fallen Firefighter
Hundreds attend funeral for longtime Bedford Fire lieutenant.
For 26 years, Lt. James Clark dedicated his blood, sweat and tears to the Bedford Fire Department, arriving to work each day with a positive attitude and a stellar work ethic.
Clark died on Thursday, April 11, at his Goffstown farm in what was labeled a 'cardiac event.' He was found roughly 12 hours after he completed his final shift for Bedford FD.
Tuesday he was laid to rest in front of of his family and friends, hundreds of firefighters from around New Hampshire, Bedford Police, town officials and many, many others, including Gov. Maggie Hassan.

The funeral included a full firefighter procession, complete with pipes and drums and salute from Clark's surviving firefighters from around the state.
