Bedford Education Foundation to Host Spring Event at LaBelle Winery

Here are 5 things you should know today.

1. Bedford Education Foundation Spring Event. Continuing its tradition of fun and innovative events, the Bedford Education Foundation (BEF) will host its spring fundraiser on Friday, May 31, from 7-10 p.m. at the LaBelle Winery Great Room and Terrace at 45 Route 101 in Amherst, just past the Bedford town line. The evening will feature a tasting menu consisting of four wines paired with unique appetizers. In addition, there will be cheese stations, a fully stocked cash bar, and a live auction. This is a great opportunity to check out the new winery and enjoy an evening out with friends and neighbors, all in support of a good cause. The foundation currently disperses approximately $15,000 each year for teacher enrichment and special programs that would typically not be funded through the town's budget. The 2013 grant awards will be reviewed at the event. Tickets are $50 per person and include admission, wine tasting, and hors d'oeuvres. In order to eliminate administrative costs, tickets are available from any BEF Board Member. For more information, please visit www.befnh.org.
