Bedford Home Invasion Suspect Arraigned in Mass.
Mass. prosecutors reportedly expediting case against Charles Normil.

While local prosecuters await the extradition of Charles Normil from Massachusetts to New Hampshire to face charges in last November's reported home invasion at 7 Proclamation Court in Bedford, Normil was reportedly arraigned in Salem, Mass. today.
Bedford Police Chief John Bryfonski confirmed to Bedford Patch that local authorities have been working closely with Massachusetts to bring the 32-year-old suspect to justice in New Hampshire as soon as possible.
"The latest information we have is that the (Hillsborough) County Attorney here in New Hampshire has been in contact and is coordinating with the District Attorney in Massachusetts regarding the procedure and protocol for handling the two cases," said Bryfonski, who referred Bedford Patch to Hillsborough County Attorney Patrica LaFrance for more information.

She did not immediately return a phone call and email to her office.
The Union Leader is reporting that Mass. prosecutors will work with New Hampshire to expedite its case against Normil, who also faces .

Normil's Mass. bail was reportedly maintained at $250,000 following this morning's arraignment in Essex County Superior Court in which an April 2014 trial date was requested.
Normil submitted a plea of not guilty on charges associated the Methuen incident, which reportedly occurred on Dec. 14, weeks after the Bedford attack that left Dr. Eduardo Quesada and his wife, Sonia, critically injured.
Once extradited to New Hampshire, Normil will face two counts of attempted murder and first degree assault, one count of aggravated felonious sexual and one count of falsifying evidence.
