Bedford Police Warn of Another Phone Scam
Bedford residents receiving phone calls requesting donations.

Yesterday, Bedford Patch published a story on several ongoing scams attempting to raise funds in the name of victims of the Boston Marathon attack.
Today, Bedford Police, for the third time in as many months, have sent out a notice informing residents of an ongoing scam in which incoming phone calls are soliciting donations in the name of the Bedford Police Department.
According to the most recent notice, several residents have called Bedford PD to inquire about calls seeking donations for the "Police Defense Fund."
