Here are the top stories today in Bedford:

  1. Congratulations to Sam Caswell, 25, of Bedford, who received a degree in communication from Southern New Hampshire University's Class of 2022 with approximately 4,000 graduates over several in-person ceremonies last weekend. Caswell didn't let the rare genetic condition known as Mucopolysaccharidosis (MPS) keep him from following his dreams. Doctors didn’t think he would live past age 10, but after 38 surgeries and having to relearn how to walk, talk and read in 2020, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree and wants to become a motivational speaker. 2. A shout out to Emily of Bedford who completed the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program at The Bedford Public Library. Once your child gets going and starts reading stories, they may want to keep reading. If you are interested in signing your child up, you can find out more here: (Bedford Public Library)
  3. If you are looking for a new house in Bedford but are getting tired of browsing through all of the same real estate listings, Patch has a list of new homes in the Bedford area every week! Here's a sample of new homes to hit the housing market — land for $175,000 that you can build on, and a new listing with 4 beds and 2.3 baths for $813,840. Check out these and other listings here: (Bedford Patch)
