- The EPA's new regional administrator in New Hampshire will focus on cleaning up PFAS contamination to address the impact of "forever" per- and polyfluoroalkyl chemicals. The Environmental Protection administrator, Dr. David Cash, said he will focus on the Seacoast and Merrimack area where the Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics plant in Merrimack contaminated drinking wells in Merrimack, Bedford, and Litchfield. - Bedford police are asking for the public's help to identify a man they say stole a woman's purse while she was shopping at Marshalls on South River Road in Bedford. Police said the robbery happened at about 2:30 p.m. on Thursday when a man inside the store shoplifted purses that were on display before stealing a purse from a 61-year-old woman's shopping cart, then driving away on a white moped with the purses hanging around his shoulder. Witnesses took video and snapped pictures to make it easier to find the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call the Bedford police at 603-472-5113. (WMUR Manchester)

Several waves of geomagnetic energy were expected to hit Earth’s atmosphere. Solar storms that impact the U.S. are the result of an 11-year cycle in which the sun's magnetic fields flip polarity called Solar Cycle 25 causing more frequent sun storms 93 million miles from Earth over the next decade.
