Clark's Funeral to Impact Traffic, Town Office Hours
It's a day of reflection in Bedford and beyond.

1. Remembering Lt. James Clark. The funeral of longtime Bedford firefighter James Clark, who died last week of an apparent cardiac event, is scheduled for today at 1 p.m. at Bethany Covenant Church in Bedford. Hundreds of New Hampshire firefighters attended a formal walkthrough in remembrance of Clark prior to viewing hours Monday night.
2. Town Offices closed for funeral. The Bedford Town Offices are closed from 12-3 p.m. today to allow Bedford municipal employees the opportunity to attend Clark's funeral.
3. Traffic delays. The Bedford Police Department is advising all residents to expect delays in the area of Wallace Road, from New Boston Road to Route 101, and from Route 101 to the Bethany Covenant Church from 12-1 p.m. due to the funeral procession for Lt. James Clark. There will also be traffic delays from 2-3 p.m. in the areas of Route 101 from the Bethany Covenant Church to Route 114, and from Rte 114 to the Goffstown town line. There will be a motorcade stopping at the Bedford Safety Complex after the funeral for a moment of silence in remembrance of Lt. Clark. Police advise that drivers plan accordingly and allow plenty of time to reach their destinations.

4. Horror in Boston. News and information continues to trickle out of Boston, where police and federal authorities search for answers in Monday's apparent terror attack near the finish line of the Boston Marathon. 5. The weatherman says .... a windy day awaits, with a high of 68 degrees and a mix of clouds and sun in the morning. Some showers roll into the area in the afternoon, bringing with them a 40-percent chance of rain, according to Weather.com.
