Household Hazardous Waste Day is Approaching
Here are five things you should know in Bedford today.

1. Rid yourself of harmful materials. The Town of Bedford is holding its annual household hazardous waste day on Saturday, June 1. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the town transfer station on Chubbock Road. For more information on what's accepted and what's not, click here.
2. Underground work on Cambridge Drive. According to the Bedford Town website, PSNH began working on Cambridge Drive on Monday, April 15 to perform some preventative maintenance, replacing underground cables and other equipment that provides electric service to this neighborhood. Once this is complete, PSNH will proceed with replacing cable where necessary. PSNH hopes to minimize any disruption to the neighborhood. While replacing this aging infrastructure may be a slight inconvenience, the long term benefits of improved service reliability will be well worth it, said a notice on the website.
3. The weatherman says .... partly- to mostly-cloudy skies with a high of 60 degrees and a 0-percent chance of rain.
