BHS girls tennis team travels to Londonderry, wins Memorial Day thriller.

The Bedford High School girls tennis team simply refuses to by outdone by their male counterparts.
The Lady B's, Monday afternoon, garnered their second playoff victory in three days in a 5-4 Memorial Day thriller at Londonderry.
After several weather-related postponements, BHS, the Division I No. 4 seed, hit the road and upset the second-ranked Lancers to join the boys tennis team in the state finals.

The top-seeded BHS boys squad also defeated a strong Londonderry squad, taking down the fifth-ranked Lancers, 5-3, in a rain-shortened semifinal matchup on Friday.
While the boys play for a third-straight championship at 4 p.m. today, at Manchester West High School, the Lady B's battle for a second title in two years when they face an undefeated Bishop Guertin team at the same venue, Wednesday at 4 p.m.. BHS fell to the Cardinals, 8-1, in the season opener on April 1.
