5 Merry NH Christmas Weekend Activities
Patch has another collection of holiday-related good times for you to enjoy.

Yesterday, Patch printed 5 Fun & Festive Holiday Weekend Activities. Today, in the spirit of season, we give you five more!
1. Christmas Live! It was a glorious night over 2,000 years ago, half way around the world in a stable full of animals when a wonderful event occurred! Celebrate the Christmas season with Bedford Presbyterian Church’s 31th annual Living Nativity on Sunday, Dec. 23. It begins at 5:30pm in our Sanctuary with a carol sing and handbell ring accompanied by organ, piano and a chamber orchestra. All are invited to be a part of the festive celebration! The night continues with our dramatic retelling of the Christmas story beginning on the steps of the church and journeying to see the Holy Family surrounded by angels, shepherds and sheep and Wise Men. We invite you to join us in our Fellowship Hall afterwards for hot chocolate and refreshments. Church Road will be closed to traffic from 5:45 until 6:30pm. 2. Swinging holiday tunes! Stop by Londonderry this Friday at 8 p.m. for Bellevue Cadillac's Annual Christmas showDoug Bell and Bellevue Cadillac is not your average band. This is a multi-generational musical experience filled with joy, wonder, comedy, audience participation and the zaniest stage show currently on world tour! Imagine flying trombones, spinning trumpets and sizzling saxophones leaping off the stage and dancing with the crowd! Everybody rides in this Big Cadillac as it cruises along playing Hot Jazz and Swing, New Orleans R&B, Delta Blues, Kansas City Jump, R & B, Philly Soul, Doo Wop, and anything else that Rocks. Their music is Highly Original yet familiar, Bellevue Cadillac is a wild romp through America's rich history of cars and Rock N Roll. For a musical experience that you'll not soon forget be sure to catch an extremely entertaining Bellevue Cadillac show!

3. Get crackin'! The Turning Pointe Center of Dance, a dance studio in its 30th season, will once again perform the Nutcracker in Concord on Friday, Dec. 21 at 7 p.m. Over the past twenty years the greater Concord area has come to expect and receive a fabulous holiday tradition by local dancers under the direction of Lisa Drouin Goff. This full length ballet will begin Saturday December 21st at 7: oopm at Concord City Auditorium on 2 Prince Street in Concord, with over sixty girls and boys ranging in age from three to eighteen years old. The $15 tickets can be purchased by calling 485-8710, UPS Store on Main Street in Concord or at the door prior to the event. Don’t miss this festive production with talented dancers, bright and colorful costumes, set designs and holiday music is an affordable “treat” for the whole family.

5. More Christmas Carol! Peacock Players, New Hampshire's premiere award winning youth theatre, proudly presents A Christmas Carol from Dec.20-23. Conceived, Adapted from the Charles Dickens novella and originally staged and directed by Keith Weirich.Based on the Charles Dickens classic, A Christmas Carol tells the tale of curmudgeonly miser Ebenezer Scrooge, who is visited by the ghosts of Christmases Past, Present and Future hoping to change his destiny and save his soul. This play, with music, is an original adaptation by Peacock Players Artistic Director Keith Weirich, follows Scrooge through a strange and magical journey, where he ultimately discovers the true spirit of the holiday season.
