Police Seek Operator of Tan Toyota Camry
Person may have been in the vicinity of serious afternoon accident.
Bedford Police, on Friday evening, are seeking the identity and assistance of the operator of a tan Toyota Camry who may have been in the vicinity of a serious head-on accident that closed Route 101 today.
Bedford Police and Fire Departments, at approximately 2:53pm,responded to the scene of a two-car, head-on collision on Route 101, just west of the intersection of Route 101 and Wallace Road in front of the Hill-Brook Motel.
Upon arrival, Bedford Police and Fire Department first-responders determined the operators of both vehicles were entrapped due to the collision. They also determined that neither vehicle had passengers.

The Bedford Fire Department utilized specialized equipment to extricate both operators who were critically hurt, one with life threatening injuries, and subsequently transported to Elliot hospital for treatment.
The Bedford Police Department’s Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team was called to the scene to investigate the collision, though no further details have been released.

The Bedford Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team is requesting the public’s assistance in the identification of anyone who may have witnessed the collision or may have information regarding the collision, specifically the driver of a tan Toyota Camry, who was not involved in the accident but may have witnessed the collision.
Anyone with information, or anyone who may have witnessed the collision, is asked to contact the Bedford Police Department at 472-5113.
