The accident happened on Interstate 93 in Manchester on Saturday night.

New Hampshire State Police are looking for the driver who fled the scene of a crash on Interstate 93 on Saturday night.

At 6:51 p.m., troopers from state police Troop B in Bedford and personnel from the Manchester Fire Department and the New Hampshire Department of Transportation responded to a report of a crash on I-93 south in Manchester.

The crash involved a gray 2004 Chevy Colorado pickup truck registered out of Massachusetts. The driver reportedly lost control and crashed through the center median guard rail, traveling down an embankment and eventually coming to rest in a small creek about 75 feet off of the roadway.

Troopers discovered a single set of footprints leaving the scene of the crash. The footprints were followed by troopers south through the median and ended in the high speed breakdown lane on I-93 north about half a mile south of the crash scene.

Traffic was restricted to one lane of travel for several hours while the vehicle was removed and the guardrail was replaced.

The crash is under investigation by New Hampshire State Police Troop B. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call Trooper Mark Suttmeier at 603-223-4381.
