Here are the top stories in Bedford today:

1. A new Tesla burst into flames in Nashua in a single car crash. The 2022 Tesla left the road Saturday and crashed into a tree on Amherst Street, according to Nashua Fire Rescue. Witnesses of the accident pulled the driver of the car to safety before it ignited. In a social media post, Nashua Fire Rescue said it took fire crews a long time to douse the blaze adding that "electric vehicle fires pose some unique challenges." Tesla, the most popular electric car luxury brand, may be eyeing Bedford for a possible dealership. (Nashua Patch)
2. Bedford firefighters arrived at a multi-unit apartment building fire on Sunday after alarms sounded and smoke filled the hallways. Bedford fire and police responded and arrived at 15 Iron Horse Drive, Unit B as people were evacuating the building. Firefighters said sprinklers had extinguished most of the fire from a burning couch, that firefighters pushed off the second-floor balcony. 3. Earth Day will be on April 22 this year. The Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains, located on Commerce Drive in Bedford, N.H., are celebrating Earth Day by walking the nature trail at Camp Twin Hills, in Richmond, Vermont. Registration is open until April 20. The GSGWM of New Hampshire and Vermont serves more than 8,000 girls across New Hampshire and Vermont, they said on their website. Bravo! (Facebook)
