Aquarion Seeks Nominations For Environmental Champion Awards

Aquarion Water Company announced its call for nominations for the 2023 Aquarion Environmental Champion Awards. Now in its 10th year, the Environmental Champion Awards program celebrates the achievements of New Hampshire residents, businesses, and organizations dedicated to environmental protection and sustainability.

Winners in the Adult, Non-Profit Organization, and Business categories will have the opportunity to select an environmental non-profit to receive a $5,000 grant. The student category winner (grades 9-12) will receive a $1,000 award.

“Aquarion is thankful for the opportunity to recognize the outstanding achievements of New Hampshire’s environmental stewards,” said Carl McMorran, Aquarion’s New Hampshire Operations Manager. “For the past ten years, we have been deeply impressed by the hard work that residents, businesses, and organizations accomplish to preserve our state’s natural resources. We strongly encourage New Hampshire’s environmental volunteers to take a moment and submit a nomination for this year’s award program.”

The submission deadline is May 12, 2023, and winners will be announced at a special awards ceremony on June 20, 2023.
