Dead Body Found In Hampton River: NH Marine Patrol
The body of a man was found on Wednesday. Police and marine patrol seek tips to positively ID the victim.

HAMPTON, NH — New Hampshire Marine Patrol is investigating a dead body found in the Hampton River on Wednesday.
Around 7:30 a.m., Hampton police received a 911 call about a possible body in the river. Fire and rescue teams responded with a boat and found the victim, a man, according to Amber Lagace, the public information officer for the department of safety.
“The victim was dressed in fishing attire and believed to have possibly been fishing off the Hampton jetty,” she said.

Marine patrol and police are attempting to positively identify the victim and notify the next of kin.
