"I know Gail to be 100% committed to the citizens of Rye. She consistently shows this whether addressing long-term issues such as failing septic systems in our low-lying areas, kitchen complaints or simply performing her regular inspections," Fire Chief Mark Cotreau wrote in a nomination. "During the recent pandemic, Dr. Snow correctly assessed the potential workload needed to properly manage Rye's portion of the crisis. She is a selfless leader who cares only for the health and welfare of the residents and visitors to Rye."
"Dr. Snow’s achievements and commitment to serving the Rye community are very impressive and it is great to see her being recognized for her many contributions," said Town Administrator Matthew Scruton.
