- Café la Reine announced that it is closing both its cafe and full-service restaurant locations. In a statement released by owner Alex Horton, the cafe cited inflation and rising food costs as the reason for closing. The closure announcement comes after the business made posts on social media about taking the week off for a break. (Ink Link)
- Raco-Theodore Pool, Livingston Pool, and City Splash Pads are now all officially open daily for the summer. You can visit the pools from 1:00-5:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. this summer — just note that Raco-Theodore Pool will occasionally be closed to the public for swim meets. - Over the weekend, Manchester fire officials responded to calls about a fire reported behind a Hannaford store. Crews were able to bring the fire under control within about 20 minutes of the initial call, resulting in roughly $15,000 in damage. Fire officials are now classifying the fire as "incendiary in nature," which means that they believe it was set on purpose. (NBC Boston)
