  1. Georgia Merrill, a 13-year-old from New Hampshire, started the Peach Project at the age of 6 to raise funds for the New Hampshire Food Bank in Manchester and help those in need. What began as a bake sale with modest expectations has now grown into an annual event that has raised over $60,000. With the support of her family, community, and volunteers, Merrill organizes a holiday stroll in Brentwood (about 25 miles away), featuring a silent auction, raffles, and other activities, to bring the community together in support of a good cause. 2. Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is expected to announce his second run for president at a town hall in New Hampshire next Tuesday, Jun. 6. Christie was governor of New Jersey from 2010 to 2018, and unsuccessfully ran for the nation's highest office in 2016, closing his candidacy that February after failing to attract a significant portion of the vote in the New Hampshire primary.
