Historic Stark Home Open For Free Tours Aug. 28

The public is invited to tour the historic home of New Hampshire Revolutionary War Patriot General John Stark.

The public is invited to tour the historic home of New Hampshire Revolutionary War Patriot General John Stark from noon to 2 pm on Sunday, August 28. Located at 2000 Elm Street in Manchester, the Stark House will be open in recognition of General Stark’s 294th birthday.

The open house is hosted by the Molly Stark Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. The day’s activities include:

“We are so pleased to open the Stark House to the public,” said Trish Jackson, Molly Stark Chapter Regent. “It is back-to-school season, so the timing couldn’t be better to celebrate New Hampshire’s proud history.”
