Manchester Man Charged In 2-Month-Old's Assault
Jesse Waren, 37, of Manchester is accused of causing the infant severe head injuries, police said Friday.

MANCHESTER, NH — A Manchester man is facing multiple charges after being accused of assaulting a 2-month-old baby last week, police said Friday.
The unresponsive baby was brought to the hospital Sunday afternoon, when doctors discovered bruising on the infant's face and head and determined they were suffering from a "significant head trauma," according to police.
The child was airlifted to a Boston hospital for further treatment while detectives discovered that the baby was in the care of Jesse Waren, 37, at the time of the injury, police said.

Warren was arrested in his Manchester home Thursday and is facing charges of felony first-degree assault on a child under the age of 13, second-degree assault, and endangering the welfare of a child, according to police.
He was placed on preventative detention pending a court hearing.
