  1. On Friday, Jun. 2, the state attorney general said six Manchester police officers, who fatally shot an armed man 11 times, were justified in their use of deadly force and will not face criminal charges. The officers responded to a domestic violence 911 call on Jun. 19, 2022 in the parking lot of a pharmacy in Manchester. Adnan Husejnovic, 33, of Manchester, was inside a vehicle and according to a report, he pointed a gun at the officers through the open window. Police fatally shot Husejnovic after he refused to drop his weapon. (whdh.com)
  2. On Wednesday, May 31, 22-year-old Trenton Liggins, of Manchester, was arrested and charged with four counts of felony reckless conduct in connection to the graduation party shooting on May 13. Luckily, the four people shot at the party on Ahern Street did not have life-threatening injuries. (WMUR 9)
  3. The Manchester-Boston Regional Airport has a new exhibit named "Deconstructing Stigma" which features portraits of locals and their stories about living with mental illness. The exhibit aims to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health and is expected to be on display for at least one year. (WMUR 9)

  • On Wednesday, May 31, a bear was removed from a tree at St. Marie's Parish in Manchester. New Hampshire Fish and Game said bears are more active at this time of year and have more cover from trees to roam backyards. (WMUR 9)
  • Manchester Police and Manchester Fire Departments rescued a person from the Merrimack River, near the Queen City Bridge on Jun. 1. The individual was taken to a local hospital and is in serious condition, as of Jun. 1. (Manchester PD via Twitter)
  • Listening sessions have been scheduled for the state Board of Education's proposed changes to state minimum standards, known as Ed 306.
