- Hanover Street in Manchester got a makeover last weekend as mural artist James Chase continued his work on a new mural, "Greetings From Manchester." The Red Oak Apartment Homes commissioned his newest mural, which sits on the side of their parking garage. There's another mural by artist Jyl Dettbenner in the Manchester Millyard next to Stark Brewing Company. (Union Leader)
- Seven Manchester Board of School Committee members filed for re-election paperwork. Upon opening the City Clerk's Office, all seven members, Julie Turner, Dr. Sean Parr, Leslie Want, Jason Bonilla, Chris Potter, Gary Hamer and Jim O'Connell, filed to continue the great work they've done this year. In just a year and a half, the team raised graduation requirements, reduced class sizes and made progress toward eliminating inequity. (Manchester Ink Link)
- A man in nearby Northwood was killed on Saturday when his motorcycle collided with a Ford Mustang along Route 4. According to Police, the crash happened around 3:19 p.m. when the Mustang crossed the center link colliding with the motorcycle. The driver of the Mustang and his passenger were transported to Concord Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, but the motorcyclist died at the scene. (Yahoo! News)
