One Person Shot During Argument In Manchester

Edward Silverio of Manchester was accused of shooting another person after an argument on South Hall Street June 17.

On June 17, 2024, at approximately 9:10 PM, Manchester Police responded to 96 South Hall St. for a report of a fight where someone was shot.

Arriving officers learned there was a landlord/tenant dispute and several people arguing in the driveway. During the course of the argument, someone fired a gun multiple times.

Shortly after learning this, a man entered the Manchester Police Department lobby, suffering from an apparent gunshot. He was taken to a local hospital to be treated for non-life-threateninginjuries. Through the investigation, police connected this injury with the incident on South Hall St. They were able to identify 51-year-old Edward Silverio of Manchester. Silverio was arrested and charged with First Degree Assault and Reckless Conduct- Deadly Weapon. He is scheduled foran arraignment today, (6/18/24).
