  1. Mothers and their loved ones gathered at Livingston Park's flag football field for a meaningful event focused on maternal health, postpartum depression awareness, and fundraising for Postpartum Support International. The day included a nature walk along Dorrs Pond's trail, providing an opportunity for attendees to connect and share their personal experiences. Several organizations, including the Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester, Momentum Chiropractic, and New Futures, were present, highlighting their efforts to expand access to vital postpartum services and affordable health care for mothers and families. 2. After being found not guilty by reason of insanity for the 2020 stabbing of three Manchester police officers, Akwasi Owusu has been directed to be released from the state prison psychiatric facility. Patricia Aidoo, Owusu's sister, shared her joy at his homecoming and extended apologies to the officers, recognizing the challenges they face in their line of work. The judge's decision emphasized that Owusu does not present a significant danger to the community, pointing to his stable condition on medication, continued treatment, and exemplary behavior while on bail awaiting trial. Additionally, the east side of Pine Street, from Manchester Street to Monadnock Lane, will also be closed during this time.
