- On Jun. 7, 1988, Southwest Airlines took its first flight to Manchester-Boston Regional Airport. Now, 25 years later, the airline service is still offering nonstop service out of that airport. For the past 25 years, Southwest Airlines has had 150,000 departures and has served more than 16 million passengers. (Manchester Ink Link)
- Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie announced his bid for the 2024 presidential campaign at a New Hampshire town hall. During Christie's announcement, he mainly spoke about former President Donald Trump, criticizing his time in office. Christie lost to Trump in the 2016 primaries and blamed the state of New Hampshire for his loss. (Concord Monitor)
- Mick Mounsey, a former University of New Hampshire (UNH) men's hockey team player, was inducted into the New Hampshire Legends of Hockey Hall of Fame. He skated as a Wildcat defenseman from 2000-2004 and helped lead the team to consecutive Hockey East tournament titles. Mounsey is the 15th UNH men's hockey alumni inducted as a player in the hall of fame. (UNH Wildcats)
