Town Council to meet Thursday: The Town Council will hold its first meeting of 2014 on Thursday at 7 p.m., which will be preceded by a public hearing on 59 Wire Road. The agendas for these and other town meetings can be viewed on the town web site.

Volunteers needed: Several town boards and committees need members of the community who wish to volunteer their time and expertise. The openings are listed on the town's web site. If interested, please contact the Town Manager's office.

Need to get rid of your Christmas tree: The town's Transfer Station will continue to accept Christmas trees in the brush pile free of charge for residents who need a place to dispose of their trees.
