Flooding Reported In Merrimack

Merrimack police began receiving calls from residents on Angelo Lane reporting flooding on Wednesday afternoon.

MERRIMACK, NH — Merrimack was one of a number of communities that experienced intense rain, lightning and winds Wednesday afternoon.

The line of storms moved in causing multiple lightning strikes, brush fires, and flooding.

Eversource reported 3,846 customers without power at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday.

Merrimack Police began receiving calls from residents on Angelo Lane reporting flooding, and one woman concerned that her building was going under water and she had small children.

Merrimack Police responded to the area and also to Greeley Street which was also flooded.

The National Weather Service issued a Flash Flood Warning for Southeastern Hillsborough County and Southwestern Rockingham County in southern New Hampshire until 10 p.m. Wednesday.
