The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook Tuesday, warning of snow showers, chilly temperatures, and wind gusts on Wednesday and Thursday.

Another low-pressure system was also expected during the weekend, bringing rain and snow to the upper elevations.
“While rain and snowmelt will cause rises on area rivers,” the alert said, “widespread significant flooding is not expected.”
AccuWeather.com warned that the storm would bring severe thunderstorms to the region after first sweeping through the Midwest and the Rust Belt.
Winds up to 90 mph and possible tornadoes and hail could be expected on Saturday and Sunday.
