Man Arrested After Fight in Restaurant Parking Lot

Eric Langlois is charged with simple assault in connection with the Feb. 23 incident.

A Merrimack man is facing charges after getting into a fight in the parking lot of a local restaurant last month.

Eric Langlois, 39, of 16 Victoria Drive is charged with simple assault. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail and scheduled to appear in Merrimack District Court on April 8.

Langlois turned himself in to Merrimack Police at 10:56 a.m. Monday and was arrested on an outstanding warrant. The warrant stemmed from an investigation that started on Feb. 23, when police responded to a local restaurant for a report of a fight in the parking lot. Police did not specify which restaurant it was.

After all involved parties and witnesses were spoken to, a warrant was drafted and signed for Langlois for allegedly striking another patron.
