Merrimack Man Killed Wednesday in Crash in Milford
Route 101 in Milford was closed for four hours while the accident was investigated.

A Merrimack man was killed on Wednesday, Dec. 18, in a car accident on Route 101 in Milford that happened just after 10 a.m.
Milford Police, Fire and Ambulance were called to Route 101 Bypass just east of the Perry Road overpass for a two-vehicle accident between a 2006 Toyota Highlander and a 2001 Chevy pick-up truck.
The operator of the Highlander, Eric M. Lecuyer, 29, of Merrimack, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say Lecuyer was headed west on Route 101 and, for unknown reasons, crossed into eastbound traffic, hitting the truck operated by Richard Benotti, 78, of Temple.
Police say neither speed or alcohol appear to be contributing factors in the accident, which shut the road for four hours while Milford Police Department’s Technical Accident Reconstruction Unit investigated.
Anyone with any information about the crash should contact Milford police at 249-0630.
