2 Cars Clocked Racing 132 mph, 1 Driver Arrested
NH State Police continue to seek the identity of the second driver, who was driving a gray Subaru WRX.
New Hampshire State Police clocked two cars racing 132 mph on the F.E. Everett Turnpike on Wednesday and a state trooper stopped one driver, charging him with reckless conduct and criminal mischief.
Police said the two cars, a Gray Subaru WRX and a black Toyota Supra coupe, were clocked speeding at about 7:05 a.m. July 9 in the area of Exit 4 in Nashua when they passed a state trooper – in a marked cruiser – driving north.
State Police identified the driver of the Toyota as Kenneth Guertin, 45, of Hudson, who was arrested and charged with felony-level reckless conduct and criminal mischief, the latter charge related to an incident when he was in custody.
Guertin was released and he is scheduled to appear in Nashua District Court on Aug. 6, police said.
State Police continue to seek the driver of the gray Subaru WRX. Anyone with information as to that driver's identity is asked to contact Trooper Kieran Fagan at the NH State Police – Troop B Barracks at (603) 666-3333.
