A local couple is excited to announced they have opened the doors of American Family Care (AFC), the nation’s leading provider of urgent care, accessible primary care and occupational medicine, in their hometown of Hudson. AFC Hudson is located at 3 Flagstone Drive, just off Lowell Road, next to Dunkin Donuts.

“This is a project that we started two years ago, and it is so exciting to finally see everything come together,“ explains Tina Williams, co-owner and operator of AFC Hudson with her husband Glenn. “I’ve worked as a physician assistant in this area for more than 20 years, I am proud to say there is nothing like AFC in this community.”

Tina and Glenn are no strangers to AFC. Tina has worked for other AFC locations in Massachusetts, and she’s created quite a following, many of her patients will drive out of their way to see Tina for their medical needs.

“We are thrilled to offer our neighbors here in Hudson accessible hours to AFC healthcare services, every day of the year,” says Tina. “We are providing a shorter wait time to see a local provider and most importantly, that reduced wait enables our patients to feel better faster.”

Tina and Glenn worked together to design the layout of AFC Hudson with patients in mind.

AFC Hudson Services

  • Laboratory on Site– AFC’s on-site lab provides a wide variety of lab work, including tests for flu, COVID-19 and STDs. Most results are available within minutes.
  • State-of-the-Art Diagnostics – Digital x-ray equipment allows AFC staff to take and read x-rays within minutes. Patients are provided with copies on a CD upon discharge.
  • Occupational Health Services – These exams include D.O.T. physicals, urine drug screens, and breath alcohol tests.
  • Sports Physicals– It is important for children of any age to undergo a physical before taking part in a school or summer sport. A sports physical assesses a child’s physical condition and can even determine if a child could be at risk for serious injury.

The couple is also very proud of the clinic’s medical team. Many of the staff consists of healthcare providers Tina has worked with through the years in urgent care and other areas of practice. “We take extreme pride in the team of physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, radiologist technicians and medical assistants we’ve put together,” says Glenn Williams, co-owner of AFC Hudson. “Our staff consists of kind and compassionate health care experts. They’re here to comfort our patients, who most likely aren’t coming in feeling their best.”

AFC Hudson treats patients seven days a week. The new location is open weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and weekends from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. No appointment is necessary.
