Outdoor Container Bar Opens In Nashua On Memorial Day Weekend

NASHUA, NH — Boston Billiard Club & Casino will celebrate the grand opening of its new Container Bar on Memorial Day weekend with four days of festivities.

The neon-pink bar inside a former shipping container will feature eight rotating draft beer lines and offer lunch and dinner.

Starting Friday, Boston Billiard Club & Casino will celebrate the grand opening with several events, including the following.

• Live music from Under Raps on Friday.
• A tap takeover by 603 Brewery on Saturday, which will feature the Boston Billiard Club & Casino's Double Tap IPA.
• Red Sox tickets giveaways, courtesy of Sam Adams on Sunday.
• A summer cocktail kickoff on Memorial Day, featuring a Captain Morgan cornhole board raffle.

The Container Bar will start normal operations the following week and will be open Tuesday through Thursday, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday to Saturday, 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The full-service bar was built inside a 40-foot shipping container and took the spring and summer of last year to complete.

After seeing the popularity of container bars and coffee shops in cities with warmer climates, such as Austin, Texas, the club wanted to bring the concept to Nashua.
