1. East Coast Paws N Claws Rescue: This nonprofit is a foster-based dog rescue that focuses on saving homeless and abandoned dogs, primarily those from high-kill shelters. They work to perfectly match each pet with a perfect forever home. They also serve as a source of education for the community. The rescue is always in need of donations of towels, pee pads and sheets.

2. Zzak G. Applaud Our Kids Foundation Inc. Started by two sisters in honor of their late father, this group supplies children with full funding to pursue the performing arts. Children who come from families that struggle financially can learn to sing, dance, act or play instruments via this foundation.
3. Friends of Island Beach State Park: This organization is dedicated to furthering public appreciation and stewardship of this beautiful park.
