Barnegat Mourns Loss Of Longtime Officer, Fire Chief
Sgt. Craig Lindstrom was a Barnegat police officer from 1994 until 2019, and also a life member and former chief of the vol. fire company.
BARNEGAT, NJ — The community is mourning the loss of a longtime Barnegat police officer and firefighter.
Sgt. Craig Lindstrom began with the Barnegat Police Department on July 5, 1994, and retired on Oct. 1, 2019, the department shared on Facebook.
Lindstrom was also a life member and former chief of the Barnegat Volunteer Fire Company Station 11.

He died at 53 on Jan. 3, 2023, according to his obituary.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends," Barnegat police said.
