Barnegat Police Ask For Help To Identify Theft Suspect In Video

The incident happened at 10:50 p.m. on Oct. 24, police say

BARNEGAT, NJ - Barnegat police are investigating a late night theft at the 7-11 store on West Bay Avenue and need your help to identify a man caught on surveillance video.

The theft occurred at 10:50 p.m. on Oct. 24. The victim left property on the counter after making a purchase. Police are looking for the black male in the video who then took the items, according to the police department's Facebook page.

He is approximately 6 feet tall with an average build, low- cut hair and had glasses on the top of his head. He was wearing a black, long-sleeved shirt, red shorts, black socks and black sandals. He left the area in an unknown direction, the post states.
