Barnegat Woman Arrested For Stealing Credit Card, Buying Gas

LACEY, NJ - A Barnegat woman was arrested on charges of stealing a purse and using the credit card to buy gas, according to the Lacey Police Department. Chantel M. Moroz, 22, was caught by the Lacey Police and charged with burglary, theft of movable property, credit card theft, and fraudulent use of a credit cards on October 10.

Around 8 p.m., Lacey Police received a report of a stolen purse from a vehicle parked at Tom Gray Court in Forked River. Police tracked that one of the stolen credit cards was used at a gas station in Bayville and Moroz was questioned and arrested.
Moroz was charged and released on a summons to appear in court at a later date.
