Christmas Markets, Tree Lightings Set In Barnegat-Manahawkin
Enjoy the lighting of township Christmas trees and shop local goods for gifts for friends and family.
BARNEGAT-MANAHAWKIN, NJ — As we get deeper into the holiday season, both Barnegat and Stafford have several Christmas events scheduled, including markets and Christmas tree lightings.
Stafford's Christmas tree lighting is set for Dec. 6 at 6 p.m. It will be held at the Municipal Complex, 260 E. Bay Ave.
Barnegat's tree lighting is preceded by a pop-up holiday market at Fred Watts Gazebo Park on Dec. 7. Shop local goods from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. as carolers sing.

Then, at 5 p.m., the Christmas tree will be lit.
Stafford will also host a "Holiday Wonderland and Christmas Market" at Heritage Park from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Dec. 14.

This whimsical event features food trucks, photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, tons of vendors and new this year, horse-drawn carriage rides (only 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.).
A free shuttle bus will operate from the Municipal Complex to the park, so no need to worry about parking.
