A Disturbing Discovery In Little Egg Harbor

Police ask for public's help to find out who decapitated chickens, roosters and other birds, then dumped them.

LITTLE EGG HARBOR, NJ - Little Egg Harbor police are asking for the public's help to find whoever decapitated roosters, hens, and pigeons, them dumped them in a wooded section of Winding Wood Drive off Route 9.

More than two dozens birds were found in trash bags on Nov. 25 and another bag with five more decapitated birds on Nov. 27.

The Little Egg Harbor Police Department is asking anyone with information about the incidents to contact Detective Joel Mahr at (609)296-3666, ext. 178.
