Dogs From Hoarder Home Now Up For Adoption In Manahawkin
"Despite what they have all been through they remain happy go lucky, adorable and super affectionate," the shelter said.
MANAHAWKIN, NJ — Following their rescue from a horrific hoarding situation in Brick, there is a silver lining for the 180 cats and dogs officials found: some are ready to find their forever home.
The Friends of Southern Ocean County Animal Shelter announced Wednesday that some of the dogs rescued from the hoarder home, run by the "Crazy Rescue Ladies," are now on the adoption floor.
"Despite what they have all been through they remain happy go lucky, adorable and super affectionate," the Friends said.

All are young mixed-breed dogs, the Friends said, and are medium sized pups between 25 and 40 pounds.
Many appear to be Labrador retriever mixes, the Friends said.

They all are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and have been microchipped.
Anyone seriously interested can visit the shelter, 360 Haywood Road, any day between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.
One of the dogs rescued who was brought to the Northern Ocean County Animal Facility was adopted Tuesday.
Brick Township Police and the Ocean County Health Department are working to reunite animals who were fostered or who were turned over to Aimee Lonczak or Michelle Nycz, the two women charged in the hoarding situation. People can email photos of the dog or cat and a short description of the animal they are searching for to Brick police at petrescue@brickpd.com.
