Expect More Delays As Pump Station Work Continues In Stafford

STAFFORD, NJ — Drivers can still expect delays on East Bay Avenue Friday as construction work continues.

"Due to several incidentals that popped up, the construction on East Bay Avenue at Mill Creek will also run tomorrow," Stafford police said Thursday. The construction will again run 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. as JVS Industrial works on East Bay Avenue near Mill Creek Road.

The westbound lane of Bay Avenue will be closed just before the intersection of Mill Creek Road to complete their work. Eastbound will remain open and traffic will alternate by police officers on site.

"This may cause delays throughout the day, if possible, use an alternate route," police said.

However, drivers trying to get to Lucky's Bed and Biscuit will be able to access the parking lot without any issue, police said.
