'Gobble Wobble' 5K Returns To Manahawkin This Thanksgiving

MANAHAWKIN, NJ — Before you sit down to dig into a perfectly roasted turkey and delicious sides, kick Thanksgiving off with Stafford's annual Gobble Wobble 5K.

This community favorite event supports the Stafford Township Community Policing Program, including the D.A.R.E. initiative and other youth outreach efforts.

Medals will be given out to the top three male and female finishers in each age group. Prizes are given out for first, second and third place for "Toms and Hens" overall.

Kids can get in on the action too by taking down the turkey.

Race Schedule:

• 8 a.m. – Wee Wobble (½ Mile Kids Fun Run – ages under 13)
• 8:15 a.m. – 1 Mile Run
• 8:30 a.m. – 5K Start (timed event)

Bib Pickup:

• Bay Avenue Community Center (775 E Bay Ave.) Wednesday, Nov. 26, 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
• Or on race day starting at 7 a.m. at the Municipal Building.
