GOP Incumbents Take Two Barnegat Committee Seats
Control of the Township Committee remains in Republican hands.

BARNEGAT TOWNSHIP, NJ - The Township Committee will remain in all-Republican hands following the election of two GOP incumbents on Tuesday.
Republican Alfonso Cirulli was re-elected to another term. He received 3,394 votes, or 27.68 percent. GOP Committeeman John J. Novak received 3,333 votes, or 27.19 percent, according to the Ocean County Clerk's Office.
Democratic challenger Daniel Ward received 2,761 votes or 22.52 percent. Running mate Paul K. Whitcraft received 2,755, or 22.47 percent.
