John W. Francks, Former Mayor Of Evesham Township, Dies At 87
Services for Waretown resident will be held on Sunday in Manahawkin

John W. Francks, 87, of Waretown passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2017. He formerly lived in Marlton and Manahawkin, NJ.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Dolores, and his loving children, Kathleen Warner and her husband, David; John Francks and his wife, Joanne, Francis Francks and his wife, Barbara; and Lorraine Fitzpatrick. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

John was a graduate of Villanova University. He worked as a hospital administrator up until his retirement. He also had the great honor of being the mayor of Evesham Township. He proudly served his country as an Airman First Class in the U.S. Air Force.
John enjoyed golfing, fishing and playing poker. Through his wife's love of Broadway shows, John also came to enjoy going to them with Dolores. He was also an avid reader.

A visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 10, 2017, with a 6 p.m. funeral home service at the Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Drive in Manahawkin. Burial will be private.
