Two local women were indicted on drug charges last week.
An Ocean County grand jury handed up indictments for Christina H. Bicki, 34, of Manahawkin and Cori A. Paparteys, 37, of Barnegat after they were accused of possessing heroin Oct. 13 in Barnegat.
Both were charged with possessing heroin after they were arrested by Barnegat police, but Bicki also was charged with possession with intent to distribute. Police say Paparteys attempted to tamper with evidence when confronted, earning her another criminal charge.

Paperteys was released on her own recognizance while Bicki was given a summons.
