Manahawkin Coffee Shop, Shelter Team Up To Support Dogs In Need
One dollar from each Lucky Dog Latte sold at Yellow Dog Coffee Roasters will go towards the Southern Ocean County Animal Shelter.
MANAHAWKIN, NJ — This month, enjoy a delicious drink while supporting a great cause thanks to a new partnership between a local coffee shop and animal shelter.
During March, you can order a Lucky Dog latte - a blend of chocolate, almond and cinnamon, hot or iced - at Yellow Dog Coffee Roasters, and with every purchase, $1 will support medical treatment for adoptable animals at the Southern Ocean County Animal Shelter.
The partnership between the Manahawkin coffee shop and the Friends of Southern Ocean County Animal Shelter (FOSOCAS) goes further than the drink, too. You can find the volunteers at Yellow Dog this Saturday, March 15, with a table and one of their adorable adoptable dogs, Zoey. You can meet this pup and maybe even give her a forever home.

The shelter is temporarily located at 20 Collinstown Road, Barnegat. It is open daily from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
