Ship Bottom, NJ…Where can you enjoy great local brews, eats, and tunes while supporting your local volunteer fire company? At Ship Bottom Volunteer Fire Company’s biggest annual bash, the 2025 Block Party, from 4 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, July 12 at the firehouse, 2006 Central Avenue, and on 21st Street between Central and Pennsylvania avenues.

“Spend your day on the beach, then hit us up for a night of good vibes for a great cause,” said Fire Company President and Firefighter Emily Peraria.

time to protect lives and property on the island. No need to get dinner elsewhere: There will be food trucks. The popular event attracts between 750 and 1,000 people each year and is among the fire company’s most important fundraisers.

The Block Party is also an excellent opportunity for anyone who has ever considered joining Ship Bottom Volunteer Fire Company as a firefighter, fire police officer, or in a non-emergency role. “Volunteering is an important, rewarding, and exciting way to give back to our community,” Peraria said. “We love what we do and we love talking about it, so bring your questions and look for our recruitment booth.”
