Some Streets In Long Beach Island Are Already Flooded
Surf City police say some streets are impassable

LONG BEACH ISLAND, NJ - It's not a good day to take a ride on Long Beach Island.
The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for Southern Ocean County until midnight.
Roadways on Long Beach Island are already starting to flood. Long Beach Township police say Long Beach Boulevard is closed from 31st Street to 91st Street as of 9 p.m. They advise using Ocean Boulevard and Beach Avenue as alternates. "Please use caution and drive slowly," according to a Nixle alert.

Surf City police also issued a Nixle alert that says Central Avenue south from North 4th Street is impassable and is closed. Please use the Boulevard for travel and stay indoors and off roads as possible.
