Southern Ocean Animal Shelter Reopens In Manahawkin
Starting May 3, the facility will be back in its original location, with tons of great cats and dogs for you to meet.
MANAHAWKIN, NJ — For the first time since February, you'll be able to meet your new furry best friend at the Southern Ocean County Animal Facility in Manahawkin.
The adoptables have been patiently waiting at the Barnegat location for renovations and repairs to be complete in Manahawkin.
But these are all complete and the shelter officially reopens to the public on May 3.

Not only will it be back open, there are new cats and dogs available so if you're looking to add to your family you're certain to find a match.
You can visit them daily, starting Wednesday, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
