Spooky Times Ahead At The Tuckerton Seaport
Come and learn about one family's connection to the Jersey Devil on Oct. 10

TUCKERTON, NJ - Prepare to be scared.
The Tuckerton Seaport is already gearing up for Halloween. Come and learn about the Jersey Devil, one of the states most well-known celebrities, on Oct. 10.
For centuries, the story of the Jersey Devil has been part of the culture of southern New Jersey. A fire-breathing monster with the head of a horse, bat wings and the body of a kangaroo, some say. The creature is said to be the thirteenth child of Mother Leeds, born in 1735. Mother Leeds was tired and put a curse on the unfortunate baby after the birth, which apparently turned into a monster.
